ยกระดับโรงละครศาลาดนตรีสุริยเทพ มหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต สู่มาตรฐานระดับสากล ผ่านระบบเสียง Adamson IS Series ภายใต้การออกแบบและติดตั้งโดย Sonos Libra (English is below)
ศาลาดนตรีสุริยเทพ เป็นโรงละครในมหาวิทยาลัยรังสิต ที่สร้างขึ้นมาแล้วกว่า 30 ปี ด้วยความจุที่นั่ง 1,100 ที่นั่ง โดยมี 800 ที่นั่งที่ชั้นล่าง และ 300 ที่นั่งบนชั้นลอย ซึ่งความพิเศษของโรงละครแห่งนี้ คือระบบอะคูสติกที่สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนได้ 3 โหมด นั่นคือ
- Reflective Acoustics หรืออะคูสติดแบบสะท้อน ซึ่งให้เสียงที่เป็นธรรมชาติและมีชีวิตชีวา เหมาะสำหรับโอเปร่าและวงออร์เคสตรา
- Semi-reflective Acoustics หรืออะคูสติกแบบกึ่งสะท้อนเสียง ซึ่งให้เสียงที่สมดุล
- Absorptive Acoustics หรือ อะคูสติกแบบดูดซับเสียง ซึ่งให้ความกระชับ เหมาะสำหรับดนตรีหนักและมีพลังสูง
ซึ่งโจทย์ที่ Sonos Libra ได้รับ คือต้องการส่งมอบเสียงให้ครอบคลุมทุกที่นั่ง พร้อมรองรับการแสดงที่หลากหลาย ตั้งแต่ดนตรีคลาสสิก วงออร์เคสตรา คอนเสิร์ต ไปจนถึงงานพูด และละครเวที และสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด คือต้องการระบบสำรองข้อมูลที่ดีที่สุด เพื่อให้การแสดงเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นที่สุด เพราะที่นี่มีการใช้งานที่หลากหลาย ตั้งแต่งานสบายๆ ไปจนถึงงานทางการที่พลาดไม่ได้
โดยหลังจากที่เราสำรวจพื้นที่และวัดระยะจริงอย่างละเอียด และใช้โปรแกรม Blueprint ในการออกแบบและเลือกลำโพงที่เหมาะสมแล้ว หลังจากนั้นจึงร่วมมือกับ Alba Integrate ซึ่งเป็นพาร์ทเนอร์ในงานติดตั้งของเรา
ซึ่ง Alba Integrate ได้เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่การเลือกจุดแขวน และสร้างจุดแขวนลำโพงขึ้นมาใหม่ทั้งหมด โดยมีทั้งคานซัพพอร์ต รอกไฟฟ้า และระบบ Safety เพื่อให้รองรับน้ำหนักลำโพงทั้งหมดได้อย่างปลอดภัย
ซึ่งสุดท้ายแล้ว ระบบเสียงที่ศาลาดนตรีสุริยเทพ ประกอบไปด้วย
- Main PA: IS7 x 9 ต่อข้าง
- Subwoofers: IS119 x 4 ต่อข้าง
- Center Fill: IS10p (point source) x 2 ซึ่งเน้นใช้งานกับวงออร์เคสตรา เพื่อเพิ่มความชัดเจนของเสียง ในขณะที่ยังคงความเป็นธรรมชาติ
- Ground Subs: IS219 x 1 ต่อข้าง สำหรับงานคอนเสิร์ตที่ต้องการเพิ่มพลังเสียงเบสให้กับผู้ชมด้านหน้า โดยสามารถเคลื่อนย้ายได้ง่าย
- Front Fills: Point 8 เพื่อให้ครอบคลุมที่นั่งแถวหน้า พร้อมเพิ่มความสมจริงและเป็นธรรมชาติ
ในส่วนของระบบการสำรองข้อมูล ในสถานที่มีมิกเซอร์ที่ใช้งาน Dante อยู่แล้ว และ Adamson ที่ใช้ Amplifier ของ Lab Gruppen ก็รองรับ Dante เช่นกัน ดังนั้นระบบสำรองข้อมูลจึงถูกติดตั้งไว้ถึง 4 ระดับ นั่นคือ
- Dante Primary
- Dante Secondary
- AES
- Analog ซึ่งออกจาก Stagebox เข้าไปที่ Amplifier โดยตรง
หลังจากติดตั้งระบบเรียบร้อยแล้ว เราได้ใช้โปรแกรม Smaart จาก Rational Acoustics ในการ Tuning และ Tone Alignment จากนั้นจึงสุ่มเก็บข้อมูลเสียงจากเกือบ 100 จุดทั่วสถานที่ ทั้งชั้นบนและชั้นล่าง เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าทุกจุดมีความดังเสียงที่แตกต่างกันไม่เกิน 6 dB และผลลัพธ์ก็ออกมาเป็นที่น่าพอใจมาก
- โดย 83% ของสถานที่อยู่ในช่วง 3 dB
- 15% ของสถานที่อยู่ในช่วง 4.5 dB
- มีเพียง 2% เท่านั้นที่อยู่ในช่วง 5.2 dB
โดยงานติดตั้งนี้ถือเป็นความสำเร็จที่น่าภาคภูมิใจของ Sonos Libra และเรามั่นใจว่าผู้ชมทุกคนที่ศาลาดนตรีสุริยเทพ จะได้รับประสบการณ์ทางเสียงที่ดี่ที่สุด ไม่ว่าจะนั่งตำแหน่งใดก็ตาม

Elevating the Suryadhep Music Sala Theater at Rangsit University to International Standards with the IS Series from Adamson, Designed and Installed by Sonos Libra.
The Suryadhep Music Sala has stood as a distinguished theater for over 30 years, offering an architectural design that blends flexibility, functionality, and modern elegance. With a seating capacity of 1,100 — 800 on the lower level and 300 on the balcony — the venue features a variable acoustic system with three adjustable modes:
- Reflective acoustics: Delivers natural, lively sound, ideal for opera and orchestral performances.
- Semi-reflective acoustics: Provides a well-balanced sound profile.
- Absorptive acoustics: Offers tighter control, best suited for high-energy or amplified music.
Sonos Libra was tasked with delivering even sound coverage to every seat, while supporting a wide range of performances — from concerts and orchestras to theatrical plays and spoken word events. Equally important was the need for a robust redundancy system to ensure smooth, uninterrupted shows, whether casual or formal.
Following a thorough on-site survey to capture the venue’s dimensions — width, height, and depth — we used Adamson’s Blueprint software to simulate the optimal system design and select the most suitable loudspeakers. Installation was executed in partnership with Alba Integrate, including the development of a new rigging structure with custom hanging points, support beams, electric hoists, and safety anchors to ensure full load-bearing capacity and overall system security.
The selected loudspeaker system was the IS Series from Adamson, specifically designed for installations:
- The Main PA consists of 9 IS7 units per side.
- Each side also features 4 IS119 subwoofers.
- Center fill is handled by 2 IS10p point source speakers, primarily for orchestral applications where reflective acoustics are preferred, while still offering added PA output for enhanced clarity — all without compromising the natural, centralized sound image.
To support concerts and enhance low-end impact for the front-row audience, a ground-stacked IS219 subwoofer is placed on each side. These are easily movable for flexible configuration. Additionally, Point 8 front fills reinforce presence, nature, and clarity for the seats closest to the stage.
A key component of the system design was its multi-level redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted performance. As the venue already utilized a Dante-enabled mixer and Lab Gruppen-powered Adamson amplifiers, which also support Dante, we implemented a four-level redundancy system:
- Dante Primary (main signal from mixer)
- Dante Secondary (redundant digital signal)
- AES digital backup
- Analog backup (from stagebox directly to amplifiers)
Once installation was complete, we conducted tuning and tone alignment, followed by comprehensive testing using Smaart by Rational Acoustics. Measurements were taken at nearly 100 listening positions across both levels of the venue to ensure consistent coverage. The goal was to maintain a maximum variance of 6 dB. Results were exceptional:
- 83% of positions were within 3 dB
- 15% within 4.5 dB
- Only 2% reached 5.2 dB
This project represents one of Sonos Libra’s proudest achievements, and we are confident that every audience member at Suryadhep Music Sala will experience the highest standard of sound — no matter where they sit.
